Vaginismus is a condition where a woman’s vagina shuts down making it difficult or impossible to penetrate.
The vagina’s muscles squeeze or spasm when something is entering her, like a tampon or a penis and it can be extremely painful. The pain usually goes away after sex but not always. Women who experience Vaginismus usually find it too painful to use tampons. This can be treated by:
- working with organic castor oil
- slow vaginal mapping
- breath to relax any anxiety
- working with ways to alleviate the fear
- do exercises that can assist
